Centrum för Arbetar Filmfestivalen är i Malmö men för personer som inte har möjlighet att besöka festivalen eller folk som vill sprida festivalen/frågorna lokalt, finns det möjlighet att skapa en lokal träff med filmer, samtal och annat från festivalen.
Samla ihop några vänner, den lokala fackklubben, den lokala rörelsen, eller filmkollegorna och tillsammans skapa en lokal träff av festivalen.
Bra att tänka på när ni ska hålla en lokal träff:
Var ska ni ses?
Det kan vara på en fackklubb, hemma hos någon, folkets hus, socialt center, kanske på ABF. Tänk på hur det går att göra träffen säker även när pandemin restriktionerna inte är lika strikta, och hur ni kan anpassa er efter lokala rekommendationer.
Vilka tider vill ni ha öppet?
Kolla programmet för festivalen som börjar på fredagskvällen och går till söndag natt. Ni kan köra hela festivalen eller någon dag/kväll.
Välj ut programpunkter
Vi har ett maxat program i år. Det känns jättekul! Ofta är det flera programpunkter som pågår samtidigt. Detta gör att ni själva kan sätta ihop ert program under den lokal träffen (tiderna i festivalprogrammet är spikade för livesändningar men efter själva sändningen är klar, kan den visas när som helst).
Vi tänker att de som arrangerar den lokala träffen väljer ut ett grundprogram som ska visas.
Vilken teknik behövs?
För att visa filmer och samtal behövs dator med internet, tv eller projektor och ljud.
Hur ska vi sprida information kring vår lokala träff?
Sprid till era medlemmar och kompisar att ni ska ha en lokal träff. Kanske kan ni skapa ett facebook-event kring den lokal träffen. Passa även på här att informera kring vilka programpunkterna ni vill visa.Om ni vill trycka en affisch har vi grafiskt material som ni kan använda.

Nordic Labour Film Festival is based in Malmö, Sweden, but for people that can’t travel to the festival or people that want to create a local version of the festival you can create a local meetup with film screenings, talks and other stuff from the festival.
Gather some friends, the local union, the local movement, or the film colleagues and follow the festival together at a local meetup.
Good to think about when arranging a Local Meetup:
Where to hold the meetup?
It could be at your union, at someone’s place, social center, maybe at ABF. Consider how to make the local meetup safe now during the pandemic, and how you can adapt according to local restrictions.
What are the opening hours of the meetup?
Check the program of the festival, ranging from friday evening to sunday night. You can run the whole festival as well a day/evening.
Select what to screen from the program
The program is packed this year, which feels great! Often there’s multiple events at once. This means you can really tailor your own program for your local meetup (times in the festival schedule are set for live screenings but after the broadcast it can be scheduled at any time).
A good start is probably if the ones arranging the local meetup select a base schedule to be shown.
What technical equipment is needed?
To show movies and talks you need a computer with internet, tv or projector and sound.
How do we spread information about our local meetup?
Spread to your members and friends that you’re arranging a local meetup. Perhaps you can create a facebook event about the local meetup. Take the opportunity to inform about which parts of the program you’ve selected.
If you want to print a poster we have graphical material you can use.
